You know what stinks? Being new. No one knows you or what you’re capable of.  They don’t want to take a chance on you because you might fall short of making it. You know what’s even worse than being new? Being a new  writer. People have to actually read your stuff if they want to see if you’ve got something worth showing.

You know that’s even better than being new? Being a new  writer. People have to actually read your stuff if they want to see if you’ve got something worth showing.

That means they are given an opportunity to become so enchanted with your works that they just can’t turn you away.

… Well, that should work in theory.
